Room Hire

The Spode Museum has four available rooms for hire: The Italian Room, The Hewitt Room, The Daniel Room and the Lower Gallery.

The Italian Suite

This room is located on the first floor adjacent to the Blue Room, home to the world famous collection of Spode’s blue transfer printed wares.  The room can accommodate 60 people and can also be reconfigured to suit the occasion and set up with it’s own projector screen. This room is situated on the first floor of a heritage building and there is access by stairs and lift. New toilet facilities are available on this floor.    A civil ceremony Wedding license is now in place.  With it’s vast display of transfer printed wares this room offers a relaxing environment to host a training event or meeting.

The Hewitt Room

The Hewitt Room is located on the first floor close the Copeland Room and the Blue Room and can accommodate 20 people. Access is by staircase or lift.  New toilet facilities are available on this floor.   With it’s 65″ screen and AI camera/microphone setup this room is ideal for meetings with both in person and online attendees.

Refreshments

Basic self service water, tea and coffee can be supplied please enquire for more information.

The Daniel Room

The Daniel Room, located on the ground floor, is a smaller function room offering an intimate environment suitable for meetings and special occasions and is located on the ground floor of the centre. Toilet facilities are available in the middle of the Museum.

Lower Gallery

The lower gallery is available to hire to any community groups, clubs or artists.  It is fully accessible with plenty of flexible working space and seating.  If you are interested, then do please email us or call in and one of our volunteers will happily show you around.

Other Information

We can organise Group Visits, Special Interest Groups and School Visits please contact us to discuss your requirements.  For school visits groups must be accompanied by appropriate qualified and DBS checked supervisors/helpers. Teachers and assistants are welcome to come along pre-visit to discuss requirements in detail.  Please see the ‘Find us’ page for details.

Car Parking

Follow signs for Stoke and Spode from the A500.  The car park is owned by the Council and Pay and Display is in operation.  Post Code for Sat Nav users is ST41Q
