In every picture, every other picture – Peter Lymer Photography Exhibition

The Peter Lymer Photography Exhibition

About this Exhibition

Our latest temporary exhibition features Peter Lymer who was a local engineer with a lifelong passion for photography.  He had a natural eye for a great photograph and enjoyed capturing the people and places around him.  He converted the coalhouse at the back of his house in Fenton into a dark room and taught himself the skills to enhance and develop his images into works of art.

Peter’s black and white images capture the essence of the Potteries as it was just a generation ago but in some respects a very different world.  Most of the photographs have never been shown in public before and this is a wonderful opportunity to view a fascinating unseen archive of life in the Potteries.

The exhibition runs from 31st July to 31st August 2024 – FREE admission.
